father's day

Today we let Papa sleep in until after 9 o'clock (for someone who normally gets up at 4, it's a big deal).  We made cards for him, spent time together, got ready and headed out in the rain for some family photos.  I wanted one with Dan & the kids b/c they just didn't cooperate for our family session.

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful man in our lives.

You can tell by the kids legs that we had lots of fun in puddles too.....

Just over a week after I met with Tracy and Dewey....sweet tiny Cadence was born at 5 lbs, 10 oz.  I finally got to meet him when he was 12 days old.  Swoon!

Congratulations......we wish you so much happiness....you deserve it!!!

I finally had a chance to look at some of my super fun session with my friend Michelle last week!  She was needing a photo or two for her upcoming website launch, and I was so happy to spend the afternoon with her traipsing across the big city.

I met up with Tracy and Dewey, so anxiously awaiting the birth of their first child.  Boy....I felt emotional all through this session and the editing.  I could feel the love they have for each other and their baby.

Estella turned 6 while on a vacation to Disneyland!!!

Just in time for our session, she lost her second tooth.

I remember this sweet girl when she had no teeth....and when she only had a few.

It's crazy to me to see our 6 year olds and to think we've been parents for that long.

Estella asked me if Jack was her cousin and if we were in her family on Sunday.  I've known her Mom since 1987 when we shared a homeroom.  So we may not be "actual" family, but we're pretty close to it.
I love you sweet girl!
